Handrails and light switches are breeding grounds for dirt, grime, and bacteria! They can get out of hand pretty quick especially with kiddos in the house. A disinfectant spray, a magic eraser, and a microfiber cloth is all it takes to get that paint looking fresh again!

⭐️Cleaning Tip Tuesday!⭐️

Shower glass can be tricky to clean. Hard water mineral buildup, cloudy spots, or just plain soap scum, there’s a solution for all! Be sure to always follow the directions on the manufacturer bottles.

Some of my go-to products are:
-CLR (Calcium, Lime, & Rust remover) works great on heavy buildup and is also useful to break down buildup on shower heads.
-The Works Shower Cleaner, another useful product for mineral deposit buildup.
-Rain-X Shower Door X-treme Clean is a paste-like cleaner that is great for soap scum and is a pretreatment for Rain-X Shower Door Water Repellent, leaving your glass super sparkly clean!
-Using just household items, saturate the glass with vinegar and let soak for 10 minutes, then apply baking soda to a scrubbing sponge and scrub away! Rinse with cold water and finish with glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

Easy-to-miss soap scum tends to build up in the crevices of aerators, handles, and decorative ridges on water faucets and k***s. This is always the first place I thoroughly check when deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchens!

Fans catch dust, pet dander, and other allergens, and those allergens spread throughout the air as soon as the fan is turned on. A routine and thorough dusting is always refreshing for all, but can also be a huge relief for those of us that are sensitive to airborne allergies!

Can’t get that stubborn smell out of your shower? One of the most common places I find mold and mildew buildup is on shower head hoses! You’d be surprised at all the gunk that gets stuck in there. A firm bristle toothbrush, hot soapy water, and some elbow grease can fix that! 🪥🧼🚿
