Please read on….IYKYK, Goose Port’s annual Portuguese Heritage Nights are very very unique evenings featuring a great Portuguese menu, Music (Fados) and vibe. The heart of the night is Fado…Portuguese music dating back to the early 1800’s. It often tells the story of love…found, lost and yearned for. The group we are bringing from Santa Clara, led by Angela and David, are renowned for their pure interpretations of these songs and staying true to the instrumental arrangements. As a result, their music takes you back to a simpler time, when community hopes, loves and memories were shared in a local establishment, just like GP! If you love Portuguese culture and foods, this is for you. If you’re not aware of Portuguese culture and its foods, this is a great chance to broaden your experiences in the comfort and proximity of your region here in Placer! Fill your heart! Hi current and future fans of Goose Port! This is Al Santos, the owner. I just wanted to personally recognize the passing of (IMHO) the greatest to ever play the game of baseball, Willie Mays. Willie was a big part of my childhood and my relationship w/ my Irish grandfather Phil….the one that gave the Santos family the Giants/Notre Dame/49ers/Warriors “curse” of being diehard fans. We watched many Giants games together and he always referred to his memories of the younger Mays. That’s why Willie is on the GOAT wall at GP and why GP’s colors are what they are. This picture is Mays at 20yrs old when he debuted with the NY Giants. The second picture is my Grandfather Phil. God Bless them both.

Yup! We’re all in tonight for the show on Vernon. It’s going to be packed, there will be a lot of Swifties (like you?!?) and it will be a lot of FUN. Come see what makes Roseville such a great city. Great weather, great people and a great sense of community. Seeya@GP!!!
