What a sweet little guy Zander is!

Life is a blur over here, and social media is taking a backseat even though I have so many beautiful photos to post, but I promise I will get them up eventually. I can’t believe we are almost in September which is going to be one of the craziest months of my life! 65 sessions total for that month, on top of packing our pod, selling off our remaining furniture, final dinners and get togethers with friends and then heading out of this state! I know it’s going to fly by so fast so I intend to savor every moment!

I have been busy with shooting, editing, designing albums and meeting with clients that I haven’t been able to keep up with social media and sneak peeks, and next month will be even busier. September marks the last month we will be living in California and on September 29th we will make our trek over to East Tennessee. It still feels so surreal, even though our house and studio are becoming more and more empty.

Thank you so much to my clients, you all are so understanding of this crazy time for myself and my family and trying to juggle it all with not only moving out of our home, but also out of my studio, transferring my business over to TN as well as transferring our homeschool over there. Lots of moving parts happening but I’m taking it one day at a time otherwise I’m completely overwhelmed.

This beautiful family was so fun to play with at the lake! At the end of our session, mama said she had every excuse to reschedule our session because she was so nervous about it but she was so glad she didn’t and so am I!

Mamas: it’s SO important to be in photos with your kids and your family, don’t let any insecurities prevent you from that because when your kids are all grown up they will only see beautiful moments with their family.

When your first birthday lines up with unicorn sessions! And this little one wasn’t even frightened by these majestic animals but I had mama pop in some because she was ready just incase.

2nd baby and the end of a 2nd watch me grow baby package. It’s always so bitter sweet not seeing my families every 6 months when their package is up, but I know I’ll see this family again in the future when I come back to visit.

Happy Monday! How are we almost in August already?! Time is flying by waaaaay too fast it almost feels surreal. So I am just soaking up all the time I get to spend with my longtime clients before we move 😭

This family is growing by one more. And a little PSA, if there is water at our location I will probably ask if you want to get in (as long as it’s not gross water). It’s always worth it!

Still on a high from this session! She’s 10 going on 16!

I don’t even know where to start with this post. I have been photographing this girl since she was in her mama’s tummy over 10 years ago and now, soon, she will be turning double digits! Her mama and I wanted to plan a special session for this milestone. We carefully coordinated her dress, the flowers and the location and then had a blast capturing these with also my drone too! It was so special, especially because I feel like I’m “Aunt Jackie” to Phoebe now and to be able to create this shoot for her was so special!

The GORGEOUS flower arrangements were done by my favorite florist and friend, Katie

I love seeing this family every year for family photos, and this time was extra special. Even though I’ve been documenting little Greyson’s whole life, he tends to still be shy with me until this time. Oh my goodness did we bond at our shoot. He hugged me and said “Jackie, Jackie! I love you!” at the very end and my heart melted! So I’m basically part of their family now and they can never get rid of me 🤣🥰

Getting Chai in front of my camera was such a blast! This woman knows how to work the camera and made my job easy!

And now they are a party of five with the sweetest little addition. Hudson is so snuggly and adorable! 🥰

I’m hitting the ground running every morning trying to get our house packed, my studio decluttered so it will easily pack up in September, trying to find time to sit down and edit and then photographing sessions every single evening. But at least I have the best clients I get to spend my evenings with!

Holy moly the day has gotten away from me. I meant to post this sneak peek this morning so don’t even ask me how the day is more than half way over! Preparing for a move and running a small business is NO JOKE!

I always love spending time with this family and knew they would be all for playing in the water! Little miss Emma didn’t even wanna get out, but I don’t blame her, neither did I.

Can you tell the kids have the best time during our session?! 🤣 and we all went home drenched with a full heart. These are the days!

It might’ve been 105 degrees but this spot is totally giving fall vibes already. This session was everything! We had so much fun playing and being goofy!

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 in case you haven’t heard, we are moving!!!!!! I will be booking sessions in CA until the end of September and then will book fall sessions and beyond in East Tennessee starting in mid-October! We are so excited to start building the life we have been dreaming about for years on property and with our close knit family.

I can’t wait to share with y’all how it all unfolds!
