Vencil Brown Elementary School opened to Kindergarten through 6th grade students in the Fall of 1996. It now serves students in grades Transitional Kindergarten to grade 5, serving over 470 Roseville students. Vencil Brown, a long time teacher and community activist in Roseville. Brown is one of eighteen schools in the Roseville City School District.

This fourth-grade student guided our special visitor Gayle Garbolino-Mojica, Superintendent of Placer County Schools, on an impromptu tour of his AVID binder, providing detailed explanations of each section and the resources within.

Roseville City School District to implement All Day TK & Kindergarten Programs Roseville, Calif.- The Roseville City School District (RCSD) has announced the extension of its Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program to 5 hours per day and Kindergarten to 6 hours per day beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.

The priority registration window for inter or intra-district transfers will be available until February 17, 2023. An email with a link to online registration will be sent by January 20, 2023.
๐๐ข๐ก๐จ๐ฆ: We have extended our TK program to 5 hours per day and Kindergarten to 6 hours per day. Research shows that full-day Kindergarten is highly successful at significantly reducing disparities in academic readiness as children enter the crucial two years of Grades 1 and 2.
