Come check out this new sign outside of Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! 🌟 This sign highlights our district land acknowledgment, the significance behind and pronunciation of Aŋpétu Téča Education Center, and artwork from Dakota artist Marlena Myles. 🎨 Roseville Area Schools acknowledges that we reside on traditional, ancestral, contemporary, and unceded territory of the Dakota people. We are committed to understanding and honoring the sovereignty that has been denied to nearly 600 Indigenous nations, and we are committed to the truth of the history of our Indigenous relatives, the success of our Indigenous students, and to the healing we hope to create through this commitment.In the Dakota language, aŋpétu téča (awn-BET-doo TEH-cha) means “a new day.” The traditional words offer a sense of hope and movement forward together as a community. ☀️ #chooseroseville #landacknowledgement

This weekend was our first ever Raider Puzzle Palooza! 🧩 19 teams raced to complete the same jigsaw puzzle. The winners from our family category completed the puzzle in 1 hour and 16 minutes. ⏰ The winners from our adult category completed the puzzle in 29 minutes and 17 seconds! 🎉 Thank you to everyone who joined us for this fun event! 😊 #chooseroseville #thatscommunityed #puzzlecompetition
