Did you know August is National Black Business Month? We love our Black-owned businesses here in Roslindale Village, so before the month closes out, we'll be celebrating by highlighting some of them here!

Evidence of Trust (located at 65 Poplar St.), is an international shop selling fabrics, African foods and drinks, including African palm oil, cookware, and much more! Most of their goods are sourced from west African countries. Olufunmilayo (owner of the shop) invites you to stop by and check it out!

Last week, our friends at The Thrift Shop of Boston presented The Home for Little Wanderers with their largest donation in our partnership's history!

Over the past 90 years, the shop's dedicated staff, volunteers and supportive shoppers have made it possible for the Roslindale non-profit to donate more than $2 MILLION to The Home's programs.

THANK YOU to all at The Thrift Shop of Boston who make this possible and help The Home create permanent, positive change for children and families across the Northeast.
