Today the we are celebrating the history and impact of our thrift shop. The Junior League of Long Island Thrift Shop has been open since 1951. For nearly 75 years, we have been dedicated to building a better Long Island community, with every purchase and every donation. The Junior League of Long Island is a non-profit organization of nearly 200 dedicated women who volunteer to make a difference in the Long Island community. We provide our members with hands-on training and community project management skills. Our thrift shop is a year-round fundraiser for the Junior League of Long Island’s community projects.
