NFCC's mission is to help ease hardship and foster financial stability in our community.
It's not too late to help! Our Back to School collection is taking place today through Wednesday (July 22-24). You can still help by dropping off supplies at Presbyterian Church or giving financially and helping us fill any last-minute needs.

Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and snacks to our childcare room. These cuties enjoyed a fun art project while their parents worked on improving their language skills in one of our ESL classes.
Lack of transportation is a huge barrier to financial stability for many of the North Fulton families we serve. NFCC recently relaunched its car donation program, and we were thrilled to provide a local family of five with a Honda Odyssey donated by a generous supporter.

Last year, our benefits screening program helped 566 families improve their financial situation through federal benefits. The program helps families identify which federal benefits they qualify for and guides them through the paperwork and application process. One client sent Amy, our benefits screener, this note of thanks.
Our benefits screening is one way your support helps your neighbors in need. Thank you for making an impact on local families!
Today we bid farewell to Jeff Rice, our director of operational excellence, and wish him well in his retirement. Jeff has been an invaluable member of our team for five years. Jeff has been instrumental in NFCC's growth, including overseeing the construction of the Barbara Duffy Center and guiding NFCC in implementing new technologies to help us better serve our neighbors in need. Jeff, we'll miss your presence in the office, but we're incredibly excited for you to embark on this exciting new chapter filled with well-deserved relaxation, adventure, and everything in between!
We are thankful for our new irrigation system (developed by students at GA Tech) and our volunteers - both keep our garden growing and healthy. Check out these incredible tomatoes almost ripe for picking! Peppers and eggplants too! Our garden keeps growing and feeding our neighbors in need.
When you donate items you no longer need to NFCC's Thrift Shop, you're helping support programs and services that are vital to our community!

Employees from Fiserv, Morgan Stanley and AUVESY-MDT joined us yesterday for a poverty simulation, a role-playing exercise designed to help community members get a glimpse into the everyday stresses that low-income families face. The tool was designed to build empathy and help people better understand what life is like with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress.
Thank you to our participants for spending the afternoon with us and for the volunteers who made it all possible!
