We are seeking to hire one to two male facilitators for our Domestic Violence Offender Treatment/ Intervention Program. Facilitators must be able to organize and co-facilitate groups for court ordered individuals. The positions are part-time, 6-8 hours per week, hours vary between evenings and Saturday day. $14.50 an hour. One year experience with some type of social service background preferred. The mission of the Roswell Refuge is to provide a safe environment and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and to educate the community about the effects of domestic/sexual assault violence on adults, children, and the community-at-large.

Instead of thinking of all the unknowns of an outcome or the things we might find challenging during the week, let’s shift our focus to what we’re excited about big or small and what’s going well - knowing that what we focus on expands as we do. What are your weekly or monthly intentions?? Write them down in a planner or start a journal.

We are looking for a part-time weekend advocate (Sat & Sun) with a shift or two during the week as needed Professional team player to join our supportive shelter team working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The Advocate must be able to work independently to manage the activity of the shelter. Client safety and individual success are the highest priority. This is a fast paced environment with many demands. Understanding priorities, being diligent in documentation, and appropriate in all communications are essential.
Qualifications: *High School Diploma* *One year college preferred" Minimum of 21 years of age * Must pass a CYFD Background Check * Experience working with diverse populations * Good verbal and written communication * Good organizational skills * Ability to operate in an understanding, sympathetic, and compassionate manner while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries as defined by the Roswell Refuge’s policies and procedures. * Bi-lingual preferred* Ability to work as a team player with co-workers and supervisors * Good computer skills – both hardware and software.
