Congratulations to General Airframe Support, Inc. on their recent Jobs Training Incentive Program (JTIP) award for 32 trainees at an average wage of $18.04. Total award: $321,226. This company is an Aviation Supplier Association (ASA) accredited distributor of aircraft parts and accredited by the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) in the disassembly and recycling of aircraft operating at the Roswell Air Center.

Congratulations to BiltWise Structures of New Mexico on their recent Jobs Training Incentive Program (JTIP) award for 103 trainees at an average wage of $22.05. Total award: $1,216,412. This is the company’s first JTIP application. They are teaming up with Turnkey Ventures to open a modular home manufacturing center inside the former MTS building at the Roswell Air Center.

NMMI BOARD OF REGENTS ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT/SUPERINTENDENT
The New Mexico Military Institute Board of Regents is pleased to announce the selection of Brigadier General Voris W. McBurnette, Ed.D., as the military school’s 20th President and Superintendent. A nationwide search was conducted beginning in Fall 2023.
McBurnette, who will begin his presidency on July 1, 2024, has served as a leader in higher, secondary, and military education for over three decades. He most recently served as Division Commander of the 100th Division (Leader Development), U.S. Army Reserve. In this capacity, he led more than 4,000
soldiers and civilians by providing education, training, and mentorship to future Army leaders. This also encompassed the delivery of the U.S. Army Reserve’s Professional Military Education, Intermediate Level Education, and three Non-
Commissioned Officer Academies.
