It’s such a delight when you work for a company that TRULY cares for the community like Asbury Automotive! My love for the community and giving back dates back to Tuskegee, Alabama. My grandfather Mr. Douglas Jones taught me and the young age of 6 the importance of supporting the community. I have continued this in every city I have resided in. The feeling I get is PRICELESS. Today me along with other employees throughout the Asbury network donated our time and strength to “rehab” a building for the Drake House. The Drake House is a nonprofit geared towards assisting single mothers who would otherwise be homeless with a safe and clean environment to raise their children and basically have a new start. The Drake House provides supportive services like financial literacy just to name one. This project truly hits home for me given the fact I am a product of a single mother household for 13 years. What I do daily is not work for me it is truly a passion. I am so blessed that Asbury Automotive along with Mr. Sid Barron and Mr. Greg Mabry provided me the opportunity to be apart of such a WINNING organization.
