Another legend. Dr Larry Steinle was the first chiropractor to hold space at the VA hospital in his town in GA and had a waitlist of many months to serve the service members for his long tenure there. This monumental boundary he shattered paved the way for more chiropractors to serve current and former military through chiropracTIC. Goat status. We stand on the shoulders of giants…

Respect on this man’s name. Dr Ralph Templeton is the ONLY reason the GCA still exists. Many don’t know the SHAMBLES this organization was in through the 90’s, and at its worst had less than 100 members when he took office of president. Without the ability to pay its bills, he was faced with two options; give up, give in, and allow the org to shutter its doors… or fight. He hired a membership director who had motivation to get chiropractors on the program, bought dozens of expensive and revolutionary tech (FAX machines) by the standards of that time, to decentralize communication around the state and increase communication with doctors and politicians at the local level, and brought membership up to the level necessary to cover overhead and pay staff in addition to increasing political donations to fuel the upcoming scope expansion legislation. Thank you, Ralph, for your monumental contributions then and now. Honored to call you a colleague.

Another gratitude post. Attorney Aubrey Villines… not only do you honor me, the GCA, chiropractors in GA, but also chieopractic in the USA. What this man has done for chiropracTIC and chiropracTORS through his life is impossible to count and list. I appreciate you sir!

Huge part of the team. Too many accolades to list here; give this woman her flowers while she’s here to receive them. I presented this token of gratitude, deference, and honor to Karen to speak on behalf of myself, the exective committee of GCA 2022-2023, GCA board, GCA members, all GA chiropractors, and all USA chiropractors to show em influence starts at home just like charity… stand up, make your voice heard. Wins happen because of a team effort. This integral part of the team brought me into the Georgia Chiropractic Association and made me feel welcome from the jump. We dont look alike, talk alike, we come from very different backgrounds. On the surface, people wouldnt think we’d get along. But we both LOVE chiropractic. She has been a mentor. During my presidency, she was my consiglieri. Thus, I bestowed the “wartime consiglieri” award unto her to honor her at our conference.

A mighty moment ! Chiropractor of the Year! It has been a signal honor to serve as the president of the Georgia Chiropractic Association this oast year… many milestones, and many lessons! Thank you to those who placed confidence and trust in me, thanks to those who voted for me.

Lesson for those who doubted; you misunderestimated the wrong fella!

Thank you to North Atlanta Spine and Pain and (both not pictured here unfortunately) for organizing this on behalf of Dr Newton and Attorney .nagel.atl - both are great colleagues and friends to our Georgia Chiropractors! P.S. every post needs a piece of wisdom…. Received many compliments on the boots(thanks ), and when I told them where I bought and when I bought, they exclaimed that was too much money for non-dress shoes. My reply was 1) I have re-soled them 3 times 2) I have had them since 2009, so, yes it does have a higher price tag to buy quality items, even if their main purpose is to get muddy and dirty. But, like just like relationships with people, quality lasts.. so, invest in quality in all things….buy once, cry once. Lesson in there…the rest is up to you
