We are excited to announce our new location in Hartwell, Georgia is officially up and running and accepting new patients!

This location is equipped with beautiful treatment rooms, large gym area, sensory room, and spacious waiting area. All areas are handicapped accessible with a convenient location just minutes from downtown Hartwell.

We are also looking to grow our team and are currently hiring occupational, speech and physical therapists! New graduates are welcome to apply.

Treehouse Pediatric Therapy in Royston is currently working on building a sensory room for our clients. Sensory integration or sensory processing, is the way in which we gather and process information about the world around us through our senses. Sensory integration isn’t just our sense of sight, smell, taste, touch, or sound, but also how our body is oriented and moves in space.

Sensory integration offers benefits such as:

✨Promoting learning – children who engage multiple senses to accomplish a task are better able to remember and recall learned information.

✨Facilitates exploration, creativity and curiosity in children who may be seeking, or avoiding, certain types of stimuli.

✨Allows for strengthening of the brain pathways and connections that allow for efficient sensory integration.

✨Promotes self-regulation by allowing for interaction with different mediums that may be calming for the child (Educational Playcare, 2016).

We are super excited about the opportunity to provide this space for our clients who would benefit greatly from a sensory room! With this being said, our therapists have put together an Amazon wishlist of items that would be helpful in the process of creating this amazing space.

We wanted to reach out to the communities we serve (Hart, Elbert, Franklin, Madison) to help us with the process. If you feel led to donate, our staff and kids would be so grateful!
