Two A1 Transmission of Ga Inc 6R140 transmissions just got delivered for our customer in California who sent us four trucks to get back in to good working order. One is a stage 1 with PTO provision for an F550 service truck and the other is a stage 3 for his compound turbo F250. We asked for both of these transmissions less than two weeks ago and here they sit on our shop floor today. The speed and quality we get from A1 is impressive and why we continuously recommend them for our customers.

On the bench today, Light Duty Ram 1500, 850RE/8HP70 (Chrysler-built version of 8HP50)

First generation 8HP products were released starting in 2010. In addition to the rear-wheel drive variant, two different four-wheel drive versions were available.

Second generation 8HP products were released starting in 2014. Efficiency improvements over the original design and the first generation include a wider ratio spread of 7.81, reduced drag torque from the shift elements, reduction in required oil pump pressure, and broadened use of the coasting and start-stop systems.
