Alarm clocks, traffic jams, spreadsheets, oh my! When the cubicle walls start closing in and carpal tunnel begins rearing its pretty little head, suddenly you realize you’re not in Kansas anymore. It’s Monday morning, the coffee is bitter and the screen talks back. Next thing you know you’re in the midst of an existential crisis in a tragicomic sort of way. ✨We'd like to announce Evangelina Vargas of Cordova High School as the new 2024-25 Rancho Cordova Youth Poet Laureate! ✨ On June 21, we held a competition at the Cal Cap Black Box Theatre, in collaboration with the City of Rancho Cordova Government and Urban Word, and like to give a special thank you to our judges who had to make the tough call: C**n The Poet, Patrick Grizzell, and Jordan Kaitapu.
