Asphalt Overlay of Alligatored Parking Lot for Calvary Baptist Church

Parking Lot was severely alligatored throughout. The customer budget would not accommodate a full removal and replacement or installation of any conventional pavement fabric installation before an overlay to help prevent reflective cracking.

Together with the asphalt supplier, we opted to install a 2" Overlay using hot-mix Asphalt paving impregnated with Ace Fibers. This mix helps prevent reflective cracking and rutting without placing any fabric membrane beneath the overlay. After many years, the parking lot shows no signs of cracking or rutting!
