When thinking of Irish cream, many may think of curling up with those they love by the fire, or enjoying it as an after-dinner drink on a cold winter night.
High West A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 11 Scene 4
A meticulously crafted rye whiskey that epitomizes the essence of the season. This limited edition release is the result of a careful blend of straight rye whiskeys, aged and finished in French oak port barrels. The result is a whiskey that pays homage to the traditions of the past while pushing the boundaries of flavor.
1792 AGED TWELVE YEARS
Twelve years is a long time to wait, but patience has its rewards. Starting with our signature "high rye" recipe, this impeccable bourbon whiskey is the satisfying result of maturing for more than a decade in the finest charred American white oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Rich flavors of vanilla and cocoa abound in this full-bodied bourbon. After spending twelve years in oak, the delicate fruit notes in this whiskey are met with a lingering smoky finish that is more complex than most.
Hakushu 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
From Suntory’s mountain forest distillery, nestled deep in Mt. Kaikomagatake, Suntory Single Malt Whisky Hakushu® is the crisp and gently smoky single malt whisky with herbal notes that is the revelation of Japanese single malts.
PAPPY VAN WINKLE 15 YEAR
Expressly produced according to the exclusive Van Winkle family wheated-recipe and specially selected from barrels in the heart of the aging warehouses, this bourbon remained undisturbed for 15 years to age in deep-charred heavy oak untouched by human hands, unhurried by time.
TASTING NOTES
An elegant and sweet aroma with caramel corn and vanilla. Features big flavor of leather, oak and complex fruitiness. Finishes smooth with notes of spice and oak tannins.
VAN WINKLE FAMILY RESERVE RYE
"This 13-year breaks the mold, as it is one of the oldest rye whiskeys available today. The maturity it has achieved while aging is quite obvious when you take the first sip. It’s a truly unique and rewarding rye whiskey experience." -Paul Pacult
TASTING NOTES
A soft nose of chestnuts, spice, vanilla and fruit. Features flavors of cocoa, vanilla, spice, and white pepper. A long, warm and complex finish with caramel and spice combined with dry oak.
VAN WINKLE SPECIAL RESERVE 12 YEAR
“A perfect combination of age and proof. The 12 years of aging and medium proof of 90.4 seem to be just right in creating a very pleasant drink of whiskey. This fine bourbon can compete with any excellent cognac as an after-dinner drink.” -Paul Pacult
TASTING NOTES
Highlighted by light aromas of dried mango, cocoa, fruit and spiced peach. Flavors of honey, oak and to***co dance on the pallet. The finish is balanced and dry, with a lingering tingle.
OLD RIP VAN WINKLE 10 YEAR
This bourbon whiskey is bottled at nearly barrel proof. Just a splash of Kentucky limestone water is added after a decade of aging. Rich, yet smooth, this bourbon takes a back seat to none.
TASTING NOTES
A sweet vanilla nose with caramel, pecan and oak wood. Smooth, mellow flavor consisting of robust wheat, cherries and oak. Features a long, smoky wheat finish with hints of fruit, spice and oak tannins.
HANCOCK’S PRESIDENT'S RESERVE SINGLE BARREL BOURBON WHISKEY is a single-barrel bourbon, which comes with no age statement. It is made from the distillery's high-rye mash bill number two, with 12–15% rye, and bottled at 88.9 proof. The Hancock’s President’s Reserve was introduced in 1991, and named after Hancock Lee, a pioneer who co-founded the Leestown on the banks of the Kentucky River settlement in the late 18th century, and one of the first distillers in the area.
This Single Barrel Bourbon is deep amber, and the nose is light and sweet, with traces of mango and papaya. The body is full, and the palate shows a nice, if simple, balance of honey, clover, a slight fruitiness, and a dash of spices. The finish is long and warm.
ELMER T. LEE SINGLE BARREL
Named after Master Distiller Emeritus Elmer T. Lee, this whiskey is hand-selected and bottled to the taste and standards that were set forth by Elmer T. Lee himself. Perfectly balanced and rich, as declared by the man who knew how great bourbon should taste.
TASTING NOTES
The nose brings notes of clove, vanilla, and old leather. The flavor balances fruit, honey, and vanilla with a light spiciness. A long and warm finish.
Widow Jane The Vaults 15 Yr 2023 Release
Over the past few years, we have set aside a selection of our oldest barrels. Upon identifying a magnificent range, we began a meticulous blending process to create the next edition of The Vaults. True to Widow Jane, these barrels were married together only ever in hyper-small batches. The result is a bourbon unparalleled in its complexity, yet rarer still for its age. This luxuriant whiskey, once married, was then finished in barrels raised with four-year air-seasoned Chinquapin oak. The finishing barrel’s oak staves were air-seasoned for at least 48 months. The track of timber from which this Chinquapin was harvested hails from Northern Kentucky, on a limestone-rich shelf, providing ideal soil nutrients and conditions for this rarer species to grow.
Nose: Toasted Marshmallow, Pear Turnover, Honey Dew, Cinnamon
Palate: Honeycomb, Butterscotch, Raisin, Molasses, Dried Apricots, Root Beer
Finish: Pralines & Cream, Roasted Oolong, Black Walnut, Licorice The Vaults 2023 is a limited-edition release worldwide on strict allocation.
Like vintage wines, ultra-aged whiskeys often benefit from some time in your glass before sipping. To fully appreciate the complexity of The Vaults, allow it to open up, thereby enjoying to the fullest its multi-layered flavor profile.
2023 - 04, "STORYTELLER BATCH"
LABEL INSPIRATION The fourth release of the Booker’s® Bourbon 2023 Collection is Booker’s Batch 2023-04 “Storyteller Batch.” This batch is named after the way my dad, Booker Noe, could turn just about anything he talked about into an interesting story. Dad was a natural storyteller. While out on the road to promote his namesake bourbon, he would tell anyone who would listen about how Booker’s Bourbon came about. Distributors and other industry folks thought Jim Beam hired an actor - that’s how good he was. He told a lot of different stories, but one of his favorites took place during a visit to Chicago. While eating at a nice restaurant, Booker was served a so-called "country ham." However, it didn’t quite match up to his idea of a true, bona fide country ham. So he leaned over to his publicist and right-hand man and asked him to retrieve the ham he had stashed in his trunk for an upcoming Alaska fishing trip. Booker wanted to show the chef what genuine country ham tasted like. After a bit of back and forth, the ham made its way into the restaurant, where Booker generously shared it with both the chef and the other diners. That story always got the whole room laughing.

It was barreled in August, October, or December of 2012 and aged on the first floor of Rickhouse H1 and H2, the fifth floor of Rickhouse FF, the third and seventh floors of Rickhouse BB, and the second floor of Rickhouse DD.
