Attention Apprentices!!!
As many of you are aware our systems are down; timecards are not able to be submitted at this time. A mass email will go out as soon as the website is up and running again, please have patience with our office staff. This system is the main server that we work from as well, so our office is left with minimal information to work with right now. Of course, we will be extending the days for timecard submissions this month and more information will be provided soon; we are hoping to have this issue resolved by end of next week. Thank you all for understanding and we appreciate your patience.

We wanted to give everyone a heads up that notification was recently received from DIR that there is approximately a 10 week back log at the ECU (Electrician Ceritfication Unit). If you are trying to schedule your test, you will be waiting at least 10 weeks to hear back. Please note that they will cash your check when the application is received, so that is a good indication that you are in the queue. Also, keep in mind that if you are waiting until the last minute to renew your certification, it is also the same 10 week backlog. You will not show up in the DIR database as certified or have your new card issued until they get your application processed. This means that you may have no way to prove to your contractor that you are in fact certified, other than showing them that your check was cashed. Don't wait! You can renew your license up to 1 year prior to your expiration date!
