The Reese family was prominent in the development of Florin, particularly with the fruit industry. David Reese was one of the founders of the Florin Fruit Growers Association and was the sheriff of Sacramento C

We are incredibly grateful and would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Domino’s Pizza, Baker’s Doughnuts, and Krispy Kreme for their generous support during National Kindness Week. Their contributions have been instrumental in making this event a memorable and impactful experience for all involved.
Domino’s Pizza supplied our school with enough pizza for 5 classes to win a pizza party and 135 students to win their own personal pizza. Baker’s Doughnuts and Krispy Kreme supplied us with 10 doz. doughnuts. This was enough to have 1 class daily, win a doughnut party.
These generous donations added an extra layer of excitement and enjoyment to our celebration of kindness. The support given by these establishments exemplifies the spirt of community and kindness that we aim to foster at David Reese Elementary. Their generosity has not only enhanced our event but has also inspired acts of kindness and compassion among our students, teachers, and staff members.
We extend our deepest gratitude to their unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in our school community. Together, we have made National Kindness Week a truly special and meaningful occasion.
We encourage our community to patronize these establishments and show our appreciation for their dedication to making a difference, and showing kindness, to David Reese Elementary.

"As parents and caregivers, it may be challenging not to solve all of our children’s problems for them. However, this can hinder their ability to develop their own problem-solving skills. This workshop will discuss the importance of cultivating problem-solving skills in your child and helping them celebrate mistakes and learning opportunities. You’ll leave this interactive workshop with ten open-ended questions to ask your child in order to boost their problem-solving skills and foster trust in their budding independence."
