This week we have a full schedule for you!

M-F classes during the week are at 6pm. Saturday and Sunday classes begin at 9am.

This Saturday join us at any of our parks at 9am but try to come by Tiferet By The Park to get coffee, tea, or a sweet treat from 8am - 12pm, and 15% of your sale will go to support Yoga Moves Us.

*Please note that classes that are anticipated to be over 100 at the time of the class will be canceled six hours prior during the week.

**We are still finalizing our schedule for West Sacramento and will update when a teacher is confirmed. ❤

I found a deeper practice while working in a fast-paced career and juggling the busy demands of a family. Yoga helped me discover balance and presence in a full life that is still messy. I started teaching at the VA hospital to veterans and medical professionals. This act of service really led me to my purpose of sharing yoga with as many people as possible and breaking down the false narratives that you need fancy clothes, a certain body type, or an expensive studio to practice yoga.

This will be a workshop-style class where we take the time to explore and ask questions if necessary. Students and Teachers alike will leave with new and creative ideas about how to integrate props in to their practice. 🤩

Donations for this event benefit the karma sandwich program which feeds our unsheltered downtown citizens. 🥪

We will also accept donations of individually wrapped snacks like potato chips and granola bars as well as oranges, Apples and bananas. 🍎

This week the weather is much better but there are still some 100+ degree days on the radar. Please check each day whether the class you wish to attend has been canceled.

We will cancel 5+ hours in advance to give attendees enough time. Make sure to sign up for each class you wish to attend on our website to get automated emails in the event of cancelation.

Thank you for coming to our classes that were available last week. We are canceling tonight's class due to the heat.

Just so you know, when the weather is expected to be over 100 at CLASS TIME, we will cancel class.

We want to keep our community safe and healthy.

Join us at our weekend classes in the mornings for cooler weather!

Thank you to our volunteer teacher Chelsea for teaching this Saturday at Oak Park.

We have added Oak Park at 9am to the schedule.

Reminder to bring water, sun protective clothes, setup in the shade, and do whatever you need to feel most comfortable at class!

This week you may have noticed our weekday evening classes were all canceled. To keep our attendees safe we do not hold classes in heat over 100 degrees during the summer.

Thankfully temperatures will be ok for our weekend classes that start at 9am.

Come join our morning classes on Saturday and Sunday to get your weekly yoga in!

If you're coming to our Fremont Park class tonight just a couple of reminders!

Fremont Class is one of our largest attended classes!

Setup close to the teach if newer to yoga so that you can hear. Since there are so many people it is often hard for those in the back to hear.

Bring a blanket for your mat to go on if the grass irritates you.

Come early to secure your favored spot.

We are outside in the parks and our speakers cannot compete with everything going on around so just breath and follow along with those around you if you can't hear or come early to get a closer spot to the teacher.

Hi Yoga Moves Us Family!

Here's your weekend schedule.

You might have noticed that we don't have McKinley class on this post. We are searching diligently to find an available teacher but as our teachers are all volunteers and things come up we have not found an available teacher yet.

We'd like to suggest for the McKinley regulars that you check out one of the classes at the other parks this Saturday if we are unable to find a teacher. Oak Park now has a farmers market and there is a growing community of attendees joining the classes.

We will keep you posted on Instagram if we are able to connect with a teacher!
