Japan has introduced the world’s first biomethane engine, signaling a significant shift from traditional and electric vehicles.

Developed by Toyota, Suzuki, and Nissan, this bioengine uses biomethane derived from agricultural waste, positioning it as a cleaner alternative.

The biomethane-fueled engines, like Suzuki’s WagonR, promise performance comparable to gasoline cars but with significantly lower emissions.

With plans to launch the first biomethane-powered cars by 2026, Japan aims to lead in sustainable fuel technology, challenging the dominance of EVs and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

The Death of the Sedan?

General Motors announcing it will end production of its last remaining sedan, The Malibu, this November. The company will now build only trucks and SUV's.

The Malibu has sold over 10 million units since its introduction in 1964.

What are your thoughts? Ford hasn't sold a sedan since 2018 and Dodge also discontinued theirs long ago.

Is this change to American Car Culture good for our families and our roads? Won't this drive up the costs of new cars even further given the expense of SUV's versus Sedans?

Our favorite ski resort has recorded 524 inches of base snow as of today.

I grew up skiing in Vermont where a 12 inch base was cause for celebration.

So...yea. I live in Sacramento, CA, which is a 45 minute drive to the snow.

And, full disclosure, as a State, we have challenges. But we also have beautiful beaches and some amazing fu***ng snow.

I made the right choice 35 years ago.
