USA Today makes an important point about how the Great Recession is changing reality for those currently 13 to 22 years of age. It's going to be critical that these younger people do their own retirement planning and, in general, not expect to receive much of an inheritance.

Established a trust last week in Superior Court for a young man who received a significant injury .

A busy week in the office -- focusing on trust administration, special needs planning, four chapter 7 cases, and a conservatorship.

Closed a probate today. Have CA real estate? Make sure you have a trust. Probate is an expensive and unnecessary hassle.

We just had a great result in Sac Superior Court; won the ability to revise a badly drafted irrevocable trust that our client's mother left behind. Tomorrow, we close a probate in El Dorado County.

Will meet tomorrow with a prospective client who runs an animal rescue ranch; California law now enforces pet trusts, so this should be a fun case.
