Well, here’s something you don’t see everyday!
A never-opened, never-used, 1959 or so, Telefunken Hymnus 5014-WK.

This was purchased in Spain in 195960 and shipped from Germany to Spain, then on to the U.S. It was never used and has been sitting in a garage for the better part of 60 years, never opened from it’s original shipping box.

The box has just been opened enough to check for any damage due to creatures or water. It has no damage.

Now, over a century after their creation, they’ve found a new home as part of the New York Public Library collection.

This man's recordings spent years under a recliner — they've now found a new home More than a century ago, a Met librarian made some of the first live music recordings. Now, (with an assist from NPR) 16 of the Mapleson Cylinders are joining the New York Public Library collection.

Here’s something quite rare coming up for sale soon…

Two Victor Red Seal Records Dealer Hangers. They are on oil cloth, with metal hangers in-tact at top and bottom and have been custom, archivally framed to protect them. Both are in excellent condition, with no damage.

Pictures show size, closeup and there is also a photo from 1910, showing them hanging in a shop!

Victor VV-405 Deluxe Console

A 1923 Victrola, featuring beautiful inlaid walnut veneers, gold plated hardware and a 4-spring motor.

The VV-405 was on of three “Art Case” flat-top console style Victrolas introduced in the summer of 1923. Considered an ‘upscale’ and somewhat expensive machine for the time.

This model is distinguished from the other two models by being influenced by Spanish Renaissance design, such as square inlays on the doors. This model also has another distinct feature with its strengthening bar connecting the cabinet feet.

The Motor and reproducer have been professionally services; it works and sounds great! It includes 20 records and a pack of needles.
