Vanir was honored to attend the dedication of the new Menifee Justice Center, a milestone for the County of Riverside - Government and a significant development for the City of Menifee-City Hall. This state-of-the-art facility offers nine modern courtrooms dedicated to family, traffic and civil cases, ensuring enhanced accessibility and service to the community.

As the construction manager for this project, Vanir supported the Judicial Council of California (The Council) while collaborating with Perkins&Will and Clark Construction Group for The Council to bring this vision to life. The 85,000 sq ft courthouse is not just a building but a symbol of growth and progress in one of California’s fastest-growing cities.

Thank you to all the dignitaries, including California Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero and Mayor Bill Zimmerman, who joined in celebrating this momentous occasion. We are thrilled to see the positive impact this facility will have on Menifee and the greater Riverside County region.

In honor of National Water Quality Month, we’re celebrating essential water projects we've worked on over the last 40 years including the Brightwater Treatment Plant Marine Outfall project in King County, Washington. Vanir provided pre-construction, construction management and inspection services for this challenging design-build project, which included fabricating twin 63” HDPE pipelines, each about one mile long and deploying them into Puget Sound at a depth of 600 feet. This outfall safely discharges treated wastewater from the 36 MGD Brightwater Treatment Plant. Completed two years ahead of schedule in 2008 and 23% under budget, this project has earned eight prestigious awards, including Engineering News-Record’s Best of the Best Heavy Civil Projects and the American Society of Civil Engineers Seattle Section Structural Engineering Honor.

The Correctional Leaders Association Summer Conference is held in conjunction with the American Correctional Association Conference, featuring a variety of meeting formats including general sessions, issue forums, committee meetings and executive sessions. We are pleased to announce that Lissi Riedel has joined Vanir as the new Central States Area Manager. Bringing over 20 years of design and construction experience, Lissi has excelled in national and regional business development roles across diverse market sectors including state and local government, education, healthcare, transportation, aviation and commercial. In this role, she will lead project teams in states including Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana and Texas, focusing on capturing new business and delivering innovative solutions that result in successfully executed projects. Lissi is also recognized as a Certified Construction Manager, Certified Texas Contract Manager, Project Management Professional and LEED Accredited Professional.

Contra Costa County's Administration Building and Jail Demolition & Redevelopment Project is making history as the first public project globally to achieve Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) Gold Certification! Vanir has a 20-plus-year relationship with King County, Washington - Government and UW Medicine, which operates Harborview Medical Center. Most recently we were selected to provide program management services for King County's multi-year, $1.74-billion Harborview Medical Center facility improvements bond program. The King County Harborview Bond Program has scheduled an open house for July 30, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tabor 100, 7100 Fort Dent Way, Suite 100 in Tukwila.
