ACEC California members and staff gathered in Washington D.C. to participate in the ACEC National 2024 Annual Convention & Legislative Summit on May 21-23, 2024. We met with California representatives to discuss matters of importance to the A&E industry. In addition, ACEC California hosted a legislative reception where many congressional representatives were in attendance.

Thank you, Kurt Yoshii for your many years of service on ACEC California's Executive Committee. Kurt Yoshii, Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Ninyo & Moore, has served on the Executive Committee since 2017 and will be ending his tenure as California's National Director at the end of June.

Kurt's presidency during 2020-21 came with additional challenges as we faced a global pandemic. He took it on with stride hosting monthly virtual "Casual Cocktail Hours" to keep our community engaged.
