On Sunday, June 10, the Rotary Club of South Sacramento proudly participated in the Blind Youth Golf Clinic, Held at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in support of First Tee - Greater Sacramento and The Society for the Blind. The event was attended by young and some adult students eager to learn the game of golf. Rotarians Steve Healow, Camille Hill, Rich Zacaroli and his wife, Lori Tibbett volunteered for the event.

It was a wonderful learning experience and a good time was enjoyed by all. One adult participant called the experience “transformative”.

The U.S. Blind Golf Association sponsors multiple regional and national events. There are also non-affiliated local clinics.

Blind golf is a great opportunity for sighted golfers to share their time and talent.
