We are excited to host summer cooking classes for Leataata Floyd Elementary students.

During July, students will be exploring the vibrant flavors of summer through seasonal recipes, including cooling dishes like our 🍉🍅 Minted Watermelon Cucumber Salad and Stone Fruit & Tomato Salad.

By continuing our free cooking and nutrition classes during summer break, we ensure students have access to healthy meals all year round. 🙌 We are thrilled to continue serving our students and cooking delicious summer dishes from our cooking school.

Our highly requested meal kits increase healthy food security for families at high risk of diet-related diseases. These kits feature a Food Literacy Center recipe and information on enrolling in Summer EBT programs. 💚 Our focus is on South Sacramento, an area facing significant health disparities and limited access to fresh produce.
