We can’t contain our excitement over how Mutual Housing California's Lavender Courtyard is progressing! Sacramento’s very first LGBTQ+ affordable senior housing community is taking shape on the corner of 16th and F streets in Downtown Sacramento. We designed this project with future residents in mind, ensuring that the building foster a sense of community and inclusion. Many of those who will inhabit this 53-unit project will be coming directly from homelessness, a situation that affects nearly 10% of all LGBT seniors at some point in time.
