On Friday, September 6 from 2-9pm, Rogue Music Project presents No Exit by Zachary M. Watkins 🎭

Rogue Music Project and the CRC Music Department presents a concert reading of Sacramento-based composer Zachary M. Watkins’ opera No Exit after the play by Jean Paul Sartres. This exciting premiere performance will feature CRC Music Department students as well as community performers including sponsors and mentors, Rogue Music Project.

Three people, Estelle Rigault, Joseph Garcin, and Inèz Serrano, are led to a room in Hell by a mysterious valet. While they had all expected something more violent to punish them for eternity, they find a simple furnished room. Will the banality of it all drive them mad, or is it not as bad as they imagined?

Remain after the performance for a conversation with the composer, Professors Omari Tau (Music), Anthony d’Juan (Theatre & Dance), and members of the company.

đź“ť In-person classes will have a set day, time, & location listed on your class schedule in eServices. If your location says TBD, check back before the first day for updated info.

đź’» Some online classes are synchronous & meet online at specific days/times, while others will be asynchronous and are more self-paced.

Check your schedule in eServices to make sure you know which of your classes meet and set a reminder! If no days/times are listed or you see "To be announced" that means your class is asynchronous & there is no scheduled meeting time for that class. For asynchronous classes, plan to check Canvas each week & set aside time to do your regular coursework.

We know you’re already enrolled for fall, but have you considered taking one more class if you are attending part-time? Studies show that students enrolled in 6-9 units who take just ONE more course are more likely to stick to college, save money and meet their academic goals sooner (2-3 vs 5 years). Taking an additional class will get you closer to graduation, transfer, and the job you want! Check out the Fall class schedule at https://crc.losrios.edu/academics/search-class-schedules
