Well, last night was the iPhone Photo and Haiku soiree at Logos Books in Davis. The show went very well and was a lot of fun. There was a steady stream of interesting and interested people throughout the evening.

I especially want to express my thanks to Carrie Ceniseroz without whom the show would not have happened, and Eva whose ideas and support were crucial. Eva also provided a spread of delicious treats for the event, all of which and six bottles of champagne, including two magnums, disappeared in under two hours! Thank you Outback Solutions for sponsoring the event!

Thank you to our friends and family from Sacramento who braved the I-80 drive to Davis on a Friday afternoon; Madison and Vincent who arrived first and helped with the setup and hosting, Mary Anne Dann, Bob and Sandra Bader (plus Coconut), Jane Higgins and her family, Steve and Sherry Grubman, Deri Ross and her friends, and Laura Getman.

🚨SCAM TEXT ALERT! I received the text shown in the screenshot below, and immediately became suspicious. The telltale signs it is a scam are:
1. The area code from which the text originated is 709 - Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada‼️❓
2. The $ sign appeared after the amount.
3. The second dollar 💵 amount mentioned is different from the first and again the dollar sign is incorrectly placed.
4. The URL shown is wrong. Bay Area Fast Trak’s correct web address is bayareafastrak.org

To confirm this was a scam I logged into our Bay Area Fast Trak account. As expected, no unauthorized usage had been recorded.✅

READ texts carefully and absolutely NEVER click a web address you don’t know for sure is correct.🚧
