We wanted all of our friends and customers to know that our good friend Adam has passed away. He fought a good fight and I know he wanted to be with his friends and family much longer than he was able.
Adam worked at College Cyclery for many years.
He had amazing bicycle builds and skills that not a lot of people possess.
Not only was he known in the cycling community but he was known to be a good friend to many. He loved Debbie to the moon and back and he adored being a father to his son Dillon. He will be missed by so many people. But his bicycle legacy will live on forever.
He was so excited to ride alongside George Barris when he came to our shop.
We love you Adam.
Rest In Peace my friend.

We first want to say thank you to the decades of loyal College Cyclery Customers.

Many have recently asked why we would move an established historic old bike shop, when seemingly the bike industry is thriving. Unfortunately for us there are actually many reasons.
The ever-rising costs, overregulation, as well as the anti-small business climate in California coupled with competition from the internet have made it increasingly difficult to be competitive and profitable.

Worldwide shortages have made it very challenging to source and even keep the most basic inventory items in stock to sell and service our customers.
All of these challenges together have led us to evaluate and modify how we will need do business moving forward as a company.
Beginning this summer through the fall College Cyclery is adopting an online, by appointment only business model.
We feel this will give us more time and resources to focus on our individual customers and cater to their specific needs.
We at College Cyclery are striving to create an online experience where customers will find exclusive products and be able to book an appointment with one of our cycling experts, who can give you next level personal service and professional advice.

Our last day open for in person shopping to the public will be June 30th, 2021.
We hope to be up and operating in our new Sacramento location by September 1st, 2021.
