Geology Rocks!
We have been hand-collecting mixed and included samples for more than 25 years, and have developed the skills and ability to find them in a variety of locales. Using Quadrangle maps and on-site inspections, we locate stones in river deposits, exposed on the surface or just underneath it. We have collected extensively in San Diego County, the Mojave desert. Placer, Amador and El Dorado Counties and all over the Western United States.
Using community lapidary clubs, classes and shops, we have cut, ground and polished numerous mineral samples to reveal their inner-beauty, color and uniqueness. As we continue to unearth fantastic new samples and skillfully craft them, we await the next expedition that will reveal the bounty of our Earth’s rarity and remarkable splendor.
