This is an X-ray of a dog’s bent front leg. See that tiny white spec? That’s a microchip! It has migrated down the leg....far from where it was inserted, between the dog’s shoulders. This is actually quite common.....

When lost pets are scanned, the entire body SHOULD be scanned to catch any that have migrated. But, as an owner, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AT THEIR YEARLY VET EXAM, to ask for a quick scan to make sure that: (1) the chip is still working, (2) the location of the chip is good, and (3) that the chip info is correct.

Remember microchips save lives and reunite families with their pet.... just have it checked regularly!

Best news today!!!! The governor has given the ok to reopen pet grooming on May 29th. Please be patient . I'll have a lot of work ahead of me. Next week I will be setting up appointments. We will start where we left off. Each & everyone is as important to me. I love them all the same.💜💙💜

Times with appointments may have to be adjusted due to the fact of the unknown conditions of the pets. In addition, safety protocols and sanitizing will be more time consuming. I ask you remain in your vehicle at all times. For those of you that have cats I'll personally talk with you on safely protocols.

I miss all of you and I'm excited to get your fur baby a much needed spa day! Also, thank you to the many that kept in contact with me and asked for advice. You are all the best🐾💜🐾💙🐾💜🐾💙🐾

Hey everyone, I have 2 basic things to help your fur baby out while a appointment groom has to be postponed. First, keep the hair from matting. Even mild matting can cause a great amount of pain. Dirt and water will help cause this. You can sprinkle powdered cornstarch and comb or brush hair. The mat starts near the skin . That's why a comb is best to use. Most owners will brush top layers not where the matting starts. Under arms, behind ears and neck are especially important. Second, pay close attention to nails . If your pet becomes fixated with a particular nail or paw by licking or biting it. This is a sign they could be experiencing pain. Not all dogs will convey their pain in the same manner. Some dogs may become withdrawn and less active, while others may be more vocal about pain. Walking your dogs on pavement can help with nails. Your veterinarian if opened may clip nails. Please call and ask them first. Everyone stay calm and take this time to love your pets. If you personally have any questions I'd be more than glad to help. Call 989-695-6471. Lori🐾💖🐾💖🐾

With Governors orders I too will shut down. Later today I will give some guidance on how to care for your fur baby for now.

03/21/2020

I want to first thank all my customers for your loyalty and positive reviews over the past 5 years. 💜💜💜 I care deeply about your fur babies and I will do everything to ensure that I continue to provide a reliable, high-quality service you can count on during these challenging and difficult times with the Coronavirus.

I will continue to monitor the situation and have consulted with 2 veterinarian offices regarding what protocols to take. Understanding the importance of social distancing in keeping everyone safe I will be greeting and returning pets outside. Please inform me if you have been sick or you have been in contact with someone ill. I have and will continue to use the highest quality cleaning supplies. A disinfectant that is effective against a long list of viruses. Including Coronavirus.

With the new and ever changing ways this reassures my decision when I first become certified to do quality one on one work. Less sress with no caging, other employees, and ample time to clean up in between grooms. You and your pets deserve it.

I also would like to sincerely apologize for not accepting any new referrals for over the past year. Eventually, I will accept new clients when space is available .

Hugs and stay safe💜🐾💜🐾💜

Grandpa Jacobs hasn't seen he's doggie in quite some time. He recently was released from the hospital and now in Bay County Medical facility for therapy. Surprised him by taking Peppie for a visit. Even gave him a nice hair cut prior to the visit.

Nearly impossible to give your dog a pill????? Mine too.......I seen this at Pet Supplies Plus. I dip the vitamin pill in it and she loves it. I've tried everything. Pill wrapped in cheese... Pill pocket treats......ect. This is peanut butter for dogs, so it's safe for them to it. Hope this works for your doggie too!!!
