TEAMTECH Saginaw - Andrew Vanhouten provided us with this picture of him in full TEAMTECH race driver harnesses (Pyrotect helmet). Mr. Vanhouten is a design engineer with Dodge SRT Performance Division. TEAMTECH and Chrysler/Dodge go far back in time to about 1991 and worked very closely with the SRT Dodge people, it's been a tremendous honor and a privilege to be a Chrysler/Dodge vendor as well.

TEAMTECH Saginaw: King of the Beasts! These trucks are capable of 30–35-foot jumps at 20 G-force impacts at landing! Even on their worst jump the trucks are still experiencing 5 G-force impacts. Most athletes in very good condition would be able withstand 3 - 5 Gs sustained without passing out. 1 G-force is what you are experiencing right now stand. Fighter pilots are subjected to 5 to 8 Gs with Astronauts experiencing up to 20 G-force upon reentry to Earth because of the pressurized suits they wear and specialized training they undergo. Monster trucks can withstand the high G-forces because of the special shock absorbers, racing seats and race driver harnesses used. Monster truck racers are very approachable for autographs and conversation.

Saginaw Valley State University Senior Mechanical Engineering Design Teams: Head and Neck Safety Device Team on my left and Electronically Actuated Wheelchair and Wheelchair Docking System Design Team on my left. It was an amazing year to mentor these engineering team. SVSU Mechanical Engineering Program is a very serious engineering program that many universities should take note. It has been an honor to work with these team alongside Dr. Brooks Byam's leadership. These students are not only equipped to become great engineers but are trained to be the full package equipped to be great leaders.

TEAMTECH Saginaw: TEAMTECH was invited to CMU to meet and greet the Chips SAE Formula and SAE Baja Racing Teams. Recently CMU School of Science and Engineering invited me to be a part of its advisory board. What an honor and privilege it has been to be a part of this great university of higher learning. I am center of line up with the Formula team to my right and Baja team to my left. The CMU Formula team is competing on the international level this weekend at Michigan International Speedway. The CMU Baja team will compete internationally this September in Holly Michigan. Fire up Chips! And fired up they are.

Central Michigan University Baja Team is always a professional organization of student engineers determined to be a cut above the rest. TEAMTECH has been an ardent supporter of the CMU Race programs. TEAMTECH Saginaw: TEAMTECH driver harnesses are popular among Japanese Drift Racers. Drift racing is taken very seriously in Japan. I have my own set of rules when judging drift racers based on the 4-S's; 1. Speed, 2. Style 3. Sound 4. Smoke (and lots of it). HOW TO WASH TEAMTECH RACER'S SUIT:
A race suit is an essential piece of equipment for any motorsport enthusiast. Whether you are a professional racer or just enjoy the occasional track day, keeping your race suit clean is important for both performance and longevity.

If your race suit has any visible stains or marks, it is best to pre-treat them before washing. Use a stain remover or a mild detergent directly on the affected areas. Gently rub the stain with a soft brush or cloth, being careful not to damage the fabric.

Most race suits are machine washable, but it is always a good idea to check the care instructions to be certain. If machine washing is allowed, use a front-loading washing machine on a gentle cycle and cold water. Turn the race suit inside out and place it in a mesh laundry bag. This will help protect the suit from any potential damage.

Never tumble dry your race suit, as high heat can damage the fabric and for sure any logos pressed on printed on it. Instead, lay it flat on a clean towel or hang it up to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause fading or discoloration. Once your race suit is completely dry, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Dan is a Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame Award Winner for more than 500 career wins and many world championships in Pro-Trucks as well have dune buggy classes. Dan, thanks for the many years of exciting racing action and friendship.

TEAMTECH Saginaw: Pictured right end, I just finished 24 hours of the 1990 Baja 1000 Off Road Race from Encinitas to San Felipe to Mexicali back to Encinitas. We changed 8 back tires and 2 front tires and a steering box along the race route. Top speed on dry lake beds 135 mph, dust and desert silt as deep as any Michigan snowstorm (the trunk lid is missing, it was used to get us unstuck in the desert silt). Next to me is Nevell the mechanic, Steve Russell (car owner) and Brian. We stopped to pose for this picture at the finish line. My first race in TEAMTECH racing equipment.

TEAMTECH - Saginaw: Not so long ago in a near - far location on left I am visiting Wright Patterson Airforce Base I am examining a real space shuttle seat and harnesses at the invitation of NASA engineer Gohmert (right side picture) poses with me at TEAMTECH. The astronaut safety program lasted almost 8 years and a friendship that endures even to today.

Saginaw Township Police Department held a wonderful Civilian Police Academy graduation ceremony last night. Police Chief Scott Malce and Sargent Chris Fredenburg (NMU Alumnus) congratulated Curt L. Tucker and other classmates. Sargent Chris and Curt are both NMU Wildcats, taking time to pose next to an NMU banner...It was a great day to be a Wildcat!

TEAMTECH Saginaw - Touch A Truck event at the Saginaw Children's Museaum was a huge success with over 1,200 children in attendance. It was an honor to serve with Emily, Ann, Dianne, Jessie, Whitney, and Jeff on the event planning committee. A special thank you to amazing cousin Donna Mitchel Collins for her talent and patience in painting all the wonderful young faces. Also, my deepest gratitude to my friend and mentor the late Greg Causley for getting me in volved in this event.
