Thankful for our local farmers…. Especially Timm Family Farms, Bay City, Michigan for their gift of these beautiful honey rocks and watermelons! Their centennial farm on Knight Rd. is worth a visit or check them out at the local farmer’s markets!

The sweet corn crop has been bountiful this year! We are so thankful for the Richmond Brothers Fabrication/Equipment Co. for the gift of delicious local produce and to our friends at Tri-Cap Saginaw who volunteer to help us in the warehouse in receiving the delivery!

Noodle project success! Thank you to The Bridge and all the wonderful volunteers who shared their time to put 1600 pounds of noodles to good use!

We need your help with noodles!

Please consider this volunteer opportunity to put good food (noodles) to good use with Hidden Harvest and The Bridge. Tasks involved will be scooping lots of noodles out of a giant box. Holding open Ziploc bags for the scoopers to pour noodles into. Sealing the Ziploc bags full of noodles. Labeling the bags of noodles. Boxing up the labeled bags of noodles. Volunteers of all abilities will be able to assist with this project that involves lots of noodles.

Volunteers will be asked to wear gloves and hair nets. Please wear closed toe shoes. Click link to sign up.

We love with our friends at Greater Midland Coleman Family Center!

The Hidden Harvest team is busy today ! We received our first shipment of sweet corn from our friends at Richmond Brothers Fabrication/Equipment Co.! They are planning to pick and deliver over 40,000 lbs. of sweet corn to us this week. Our team will be busy distributing it all to local agencies serving area families and individuals in need.

Thank you to our friends at Hungry For Christ Food Ministries for sharing a semi-load of extra food with us! We received lots of great items including orange juice, frozen meats, cottage cheese, dry pasta, and non-perishable items. Instead of this extra food going to waste, our team will be busy distributing it all to local agencies serving area families and individuals in need. Also, thank you Keith and to all our friends at Grassmid Transport for picking up and delivering this load to us.

We had an amazing volunteer crew last night harvest over 1000 pounds of corn 🌽
Thanks to these volunteers and our dedicated volunteer Brian who donated his time and property all summer to plant and tend this crop. You all are blessing the community helping to meet the basic need for fresh healthy food.
We will be sharing this corn and other produce on our Pay What You Can produce stands today. 919 Smith Rd. and 6220 Jefferson. The stands will be fully stocked by 11:30.
Half of the corn will be picked up and distributed to other nonprofits in our community by Hidden Harvest.

Thank you to everyone who donated during the Meijer Simply Give Campaign at the Tittabawassee Rd Meijer in Saginaw! We used some of the proceeds to purchase 10,800 eggs! Our team will be busy distributing them all to local agencies serving area families and individuals in need.

What a wonderful act of kindness took place this weekend at the Beach Side Cafe'! So many thanks to all who brought donations for Hidden Harvest and extra big thanks to Mark and Tracy for inviting your friends (and the The Socially Distant) to come together to support our organization!

The Hidden Harvest team was busy yesterday ! We teamed up with our friends from The East Side Soup Kitchen, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, and volunteers from the community to box up and distribute over 15,000 lbs. of food to local families and individuals in need.

Whew! A warm one this week for the retired teachers’ group who created this yummy chicken pasta dish with fresh veggies thanks to donations from Hidden Harvest. And who doesn’t like refreshing watermelon for dessert??? Next up Westminster Presbyterian Church - Bay City.

The Hidden Harvest team is busy today ! Christine and Ken from The Market Food Pantry in St. Charles stopped by the warehouse to pick up lots of donations of extra food for the pantry. Instead of this extra food going to waste, it will be distributed to families and individuals in need.
