Happy Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving we are thankful for all of our loyal customers. We will be closed Thursday and Friday to spend time with our families. We hope you enjoy your weekend.

It was a fun night raising funds for the St. Charles Emergency Responders, resource center, and SEMCAC. The business owners won against the high schoolers and tied the championship game with the firefighters. It was discovered that Cory is way better at fixing cars than shooting a basket.

What is an alignment on my car and why should I opt for that when I get new tires?
1. Tires are a big investment. An alignment will get all your tires in line so that they wear evenly.
2. An alignment will help you get the maximum life out of your tires.
3. So, even though it’s an extra cost, it will keep you from buying new tires sooner.

I found this tool in my glove compartment. What’s it for? Do I need it?

Yes, it’s for your tires! Some tires require a special key to get the tires’ lug-nuts off.

This key is usually found in the glove compartment. Make sure you keep this in your car at all times. Keep it in your glove box or let your technician know where it’s located.

My check engine light came on, now what? Do I have to get it checked? My car seems fine, can’t it wait?
1. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
2. If it’s flashing, get it checked immediately. This is a high concerning problem with your vehicle.
3. That doesn’t mean there is no problem if it’s not flashing. A check engine light can mean thousands of different things. Bring it in as soon as you can so we can diagnose the problem.

How do you know when you need new tires? Here is how to check the quality of your tire.
1. Keep up on your oil changes because your automotive technician will check tire quality each time.
2. If your tires look smooth or are low on tread it’s time for new.
3. Can you see crossbars in the tread? It’s time for new tires.
4. Stick a penny in heads down into the tread. If you can no longer see Lincoln’s head, your tread is still good.
Don’t wait until the first snowfall for new tires because it’s dangerous and it could take longer for tires to be available. Comment below if you have checked your tire tread recently. 👇🏼
