Turnip (b&w kitten) and her siblings were found outdoors at LDD without their mom, dehydrated, skinny and with a sibling that past away the night we found them.

I bought them to TCHS and have been fostering them through TCHS ever since. They have gotten big and strong, been vaccinated and just went up for adoption.

Two of the kittens received deposited for their adoption yesterday and we want to help Turnip find her dream peeps.

Turnip and her sibs are getting fixed on Tuesday and will then be ready to join their new families. Until then they are partying it up kitten style at LDD.

The moment I saw that the adult brown tabby I fed every night had 6 kittens -- I knew my life was going to change. Not the first set of kittens I've helped but I knew this was pushing me over my threshold. I knew this constant stream of kittens was never going to change if I didn't figure out a way to up my tnr game. I knew I was tapped out of what I was capable of financially doing by myself. I'm am not the type of person that likes asking for help (hate it, actually) and I was going to have to do just this. I don't like feeling out of control and I felt out of control. I don't like relying on others and that was gonna have to change. I don't know what it is about helping cats, but dang it...it's like one of my most favorite things in the world. Feral cats remind me of myself. Stubborn, independent, clever and creative little home bodies that just want to do their own thing. Winning them over or helping making their lives just a little easier by getting them fixed, providing outdoor shelters and food makes my day.

So now an overdue update on the bunch that pushed me out of my comfort zone.

The mom (her name is Fern) is indoors at LDD and is learning the joys of a spoiled indoor life. She's doing great and will eventually be looking for her forever home but needs just a little bit more time. She's so smart, playful, expressive and just the sweetest little lady. She loves other cats and 100% has to have feline buddies in her world. 😻

Penelope (grey) and Arthur (one of the cream kittens) that are pictured below got adopted together last week. Penelope was the shyest kitten at LDD and now has her very own forever family. 🥰😍❤

The other cream kitten is named Mister or Mr Confident. He is r.e.a.d.y. to be adopted and take on the world with his new partners in crime...I mean future new family. He loves life and I'll share a seperate post on him later today. He must be adopted with one of his siblings or into a family that already has a cat friendly pet.

The black kitten and the grey tabby are doing great but being a bit shy yet. They both either need a family who is cool going slow to help build their confidence or giving them just a bit more time with their foster family to help them come out of their shell.

Thank you all for helping me get them fixed, vaccinated, fed, spoiled, fostered and ready for the good life. So many people helped in so many ways get them from running around cars in the LDD parking lot to having full tummies indoors where they safe and happy. ❤ Thank you, thank you and thank you!

Do I have any food on my face?

Four 3-4 week old kittens were found outside of LDD last night and sadly one kitten didn't make it. These three sweet peas are currently safe and sound inside -- but I desperately need someone to help foster them.

Fostering helps prepare cats or kittens for their future indoor life. In this case you'd help them by providing them with a safe and comfortable environment, feed them (food provided), help them keep their space clean and tidy, play with them, teach them that humans are awesome, help get them to their vet appts, update Jen with occasional picts and bios to help them find their dream family, talk about them up with your friends and family (just in case they happen to be or know of someone else who could be their dream family). Vet care and basic essentials will be provided. They just need a loving and kind temporary family to help them know humans and the indoor life are the best. Fostering is like being a temporary host family to a living creature in need. Don't we all need love, play, safety and guidance? Do you have an extra room and some love to give to help prepare these little guys for their exciting future?

😻 Emily and I have gotten 7 cats indoors this week, two adult females and 5 kittens.

😻 Half of these cats have been fixed this week and half are getting fixed soon.

😻 The 5 kittens are being fostered at auntie Emily's and the 2 adults are learning about the indoor life at LDD.

😻 Learned of two more kittens of a community cat Jen cares for. This mom and two kittens are next on the list to get fixed.

😻 The 5 kittens will be ready for adoption in a month or month and a half.

😻 You all have played an important part in helping us pull this off. Your donations of food, treats and cat litter are a huge help. Putting funds on our account at Eden Valley has helped us get everyone fixed and vaccinated. 😻 The feral adult with the injured leg has not been showing himself. I don't give up easily so fingers crossed he'll show up and go into a trap soon.

I apologize for the lack of updates on the kittens and injured cat, there have been a lot of moving pieces and long days around here.

I'm not going share much yet, as I don't want to jinx myself. I will say the next couple of days Emily and I could use lots of good luck energy, as we have some big goals to accomplish.

I wanted to post a thank you every day for those who have put money on my account at the vet, sent money, donated cat food and litter and I've dropped the ball. More thank you's coming soon though. 🥰😻❤

I am so incredibly grateful for everyone's help, it has made helping these kittens achievable. It's also touched my heart knowing others care and want to help give these kittens a chance at the good life and to help the feral injured cat. I was expected zero response from my post asking for help and you all stepped up and have helped me -- help them.

If anyone is still wanting to help, I might need one more foster home and we are going through tons of cat food and treats and the kittens would not turn away cat toys.

Sadly there are no longer 6 kittens, not sure what happens but now there are only 5. It's been over a week and now only 5. 😞 Bringing the # of cats in my care to 21.

Stepping out of my comfort zone and asking for some help.

I have 16 cats that I feed, monitor & care for on a daily basis. 7 of these cats are fixed and indoors at LDD looking for their forever homes and 9 are almost all fixed outdoor community cats. 16 cats and running LDD is no joke, it's a lot.

I was excited cuz had an appt to get one of the outdoor cats fixed the week of Memorial Day. A couple days before her big appt, I went out to feed her and learned that she had 6 kittens. I wasn't sure if her kittens could be away from their mom yet, so sadly I had to cancel the appt.

16 cats has now turned into 22. 🥴😳 I'm overwhelmed and I need help.

To add to it -- an outdoor male cat is not using his back leg at all and his leg looks terrible.

The 6 kittens and their mom need to get fixed and the male needs his leg looked at pronto.

Here's what I need.

😼 Someone with experience using a drop trap. I have many live traps and experience using them, but this is more of a drop trap situation. I have a drop trap but I think something is wrong with it and I need assistance.

😼 I need financial help. I spoke with Eden Valley Vet Clinic and they said people can either text them the amount they'd like to put on my account (Jennifer Moore with La Dee Dogs) and they will send you a link to pay or you can call in a payment to put on my account. 😼 I will need either volunteers to help socialize and care for the 6 kittens or I need one or two people to help foster them. I'd prefer to find fosters as it will help my work load tremendously and will benefit the kittens so much more.

😼 I need cat food, treat stix, toys and cat litter. Donations of these items can be dropped off at LDD and or cat food can be purchased at LDD. We prefer scoopable cat litter and the best priced litter I've found is the Master Paws 40 # at Menards for $11.56 after mail in rebate.

😼 I'm looking to start a local TRN group where we can all work together to do even more to improve the lives of our community cat population. If you currently do TNR or want to learn more about how to help our outdoor community cats -- let's do this. We could use a variety of personal strengths to help this group succeed. I've learned of other areas that have TNR goups and have made a lot of progress reducing the growing cat population by working together. I think the St Cloud area needs this and I think the cats need us to start a TNR group / club in their honor.

😼 Lastly, if you know of anyone looking to start a cat lounge / adoption center, I'd love to connect as we may have similar ideas that could compliment each other.
