Ladies and Gentlemen, your St. Cloud Firefighters are asking for your support now more than ever! With an estimated 32% increase in call volume, it is essential that we have your support this fall to build the resources needed! It is the highest priority of the SCFD to ensure that we can continue to offer the highest quality of professional service to you and loved ones; not just today but for years and years to come!
It’s more than just a referendum! It’s an investment in our community!
🚒 Your St.Cloud Firefighters Need Your Support 🚒
The St. Cloud City Council just approved a ballot measure asking YOU, the residents, to support a critical investment in our community’s safety—a new fire station and live fire training facility.
🔥Why is this important?🔥
With our city growing rapidly, especially around Tech High School, response times are becoming a serious concern. The proposed station at 33rd Street South and Highway 15 isn’t just about covering one neighborhood; it will improve response times across ALL of St. Cloud.
But it’s not just about getting to emergencies faster. Our firefighters desperately need a dedicated training facility. Right now, we don’t have access to the live fire training necessary to keep our skills sharp and our community safe. The new station would include a state-of-the-art training tower, preparing us to handle everything from single-family home fires to large commercial blazes. It could also serve as a regional training center, benefiting neighboring departments too.
📅 **Timeline:**
- **2025:** Planning begins
- **2026:** Construction starts
- **2027:** Station completed
We’re on pace to respond to over 10,000 calls this year —a 32% increase from past years. We need this new station to continue protecting you and your loved ones effectively.
💪 **Stand with us, St. Cloud. Vote YES to support your firefighters this November!** 💪
Your Saint Cloud Firefighters are currently involved with the recruit academy. We not only base our search culture around the , but also, known and well practiced techniques. The recruits have the opportunity to take what they learned in the classroom and on the drill ground and put them to the test while refining their skills.
Class
Our number one priority is always life safety. This is an important lesson that they will continue to build upon as the weeks progress.
Your Saint Cloud firefighters had a detached garage fire a few weeks back. Engine 1 arrived and pulled an attack line to the garage for fire attack. Fire was knocked down with ease and overhaul was started. Commonly garage attics are used as storage space and this was no different. Major overhaul was needed to ensure a complete fire out situation.
Your St Cloud Firefighters have been on an Instagram hiatus for a while but we’d like to say we are back and shall be posting regularly and keep updating ! We’ve got some big news we’d like to get out soon! Stay tuned for updates and in the meantime, enjoy some photos of our members 🤙🏼
Citizens of Saint Cloud, we need your help this fall. There is a big referendum on the ballot and we need your support. This new Station will not only better serve the south west portion of Saint Cloud but provide better and faster service to the entire city by allowing resources to better stay in their own districts.
