It’s a “I LOVE LUCY” photo overload : over 2 weeks of doctors lead us to a ultrasound only to find out it was an inoperable tumor 😢 Lucy lived at Chime & Time over 3 years after showing up there crying at the back door 10 years ago. Customers would walk in and we thought we had shoppers but they’d say “where’s Lucy?” (Many didn’t even know our names) Kids would carry her around the shop and she loved the attention ! Many kids who had dogs at home called Lucy their cat in town and always found her to have their picture made with her . Ice tea was hers if Bobby turned his head ! She loved flowers , I guess they were her aroma therapy from all our dust! At home she became #4 in our gang but was & always will be #1 in Bobby’s heart !! For over 10 years she has literally been by his side ! Almost 2 years ago we lost Rusty at 18 yrs.old and just back in May we lost Betsey at 19 yrs.old . Lucy was only 11-12 . If surgery could have been done we would have done it : letting her go this morning was so hard 😢 now we just have our little EmmyLou. The house feels strange & Bobby’s asleep on the couch by himself ; he hasn’t slept well for weeks 😢Lucy is usually right beside him 😢
