Snowfall expected to arrive Friday bringing light snow (mainly less than an inch). Greater snow amounts are expected across central into eastern Missouri.

🏈It's game day! It all started right here during Training Camp and now it's time for the big game. Good luck to the Kansas City Chiefs from the city of St. Joseph and bring home a victory!

Freezing rain is expected to begin late tonight and continue through mid morning for areas along and south of I-70 and until early afternoon across northern Missouri beyond which temperatures will warm above freezing. A glaze of ice up to 0.1" will be possible with greater amounts across central MO and lesser amounts across NW MO. The morning commute will be impacted as surfaces will be come slick.

Icy conditions are expected tonight into Monday as light freezing rain moves across the area.

Snow will continue today, with the highest additional accumulating snow totals over far northern MO near the Iowa border. Wind gusts up to 40 mph may create periods of very low visibility near the Iowa border.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a great man and long-time member of our local community and our industry in NW Missouri.

Jerry Wayman joined our business family back in 2016 as he decided to retire and sold JJ Wayman Lawn Care to Archer Lawn Care, Inc.

While his long-time employees and customers transitioned to Archer, he also became a frequent visitor of our office and stayed in contact with many in our industry. We will always remember him fondly along with his impact on our business community.
