Sometimes this is how it feels....
I will be taking a step back from my counseling practice for a while. No new referrals and finishing up with my regular clients this year.
Burnout is real and it's important to know when to take care of yourself (I do work a full time job during the week).
Hoping to build my practice back up as I get closer to retirement. Then I can focus on being a creative and effective therapist!

Appointments are filling up!
Did you know you can use HSA to pay for counseling sessions? Pretty cool.
I am planning on opening up my schedule for new clients in January. But wanted to give my existing clients a heads-up in case you want to be sure and have appointments set up ahead of time.
The goal for 2024 is to have in-person appointments every Saturday (6 slots available) and virtual appointments on the weeknights.

About Stacey
I believe anyone can benefit from counseling, and often you have to "shop around" to find a counselor who is the best fit for you. I have experience working with all age groups from children and families to adolescents, college students, adults, and individuals with disabling conditions. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, dealing with traumatic experiences, recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, or just trying to learn more about yourself, I would be happy to work with you. I offer a warm, accepting, and positive environment for my clients to discover their strengths and values. My theoretical orientation tends to be cognitive-behavioral, but I do take an eclectic approach to therapy depending on the needs of the individual I am working with. I have been trained in family systems, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback and other relaxation techniques. I have great passion for helping people become the best version of themselves, using a strengths-based approach. I can meet with you on evenings or weekends. During the day I work full-time as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and I also teach Yoga and Pilates classes. Call/email for more info!
