FREE Mobility Course 🤩
Dealing with joint pain and stiff movement sucks. You've probably been told to just "stretch it out." or "do some mobility drills. "
While you might get some short term relief taking this approach, this is exactly what you DON'T want to do. Since it causes more problems than it solves in the long run. We'll show you why in this course.

My gait improvements from almost 5 years of using methods only and starting The Movement Elimination Protocol by in July 2017.
My training history prior to 2017 was rock climbing, strength training, and physical therapy. When I was in hockey and lacrosse as a teenager, I had bodybuilding, HIIT, running, and stretching routines.
I have since significantly decreased my anxiety after starting the 10 week online course. I can effortlessly control my body from tensing up due to stress responses compared to before FP. I am less anxious and a more confident speaker in my job as an engineer and when training clients as a FP practitioner.
I have improved my performance and well-being despite many months at a time working 80-90 hour weeks. This includes the final year of finishing my chemical engineering degree from Fall 2019 to Spring 2020 and the last year as an engineer and FP practitioner.

“BE A BETTER COMPUTER 💻…
…NOT A BETTER VALIDATION SEEKER.”
coming in hot 🔥 with some relevant insight regarding gaining muscle.
So often we talk about developing muscle in this industry, but rarely do we talk about what the adequate amount of muscle should be for a human in optimal situations.
Why is this conversation rarely had? Because sexual selection is an arms race where everyone is trying to do whatever they can to get attention.
In modern times, the thing to do is build yourself to a point where you almost don’t look real anymore just for people to notice you.
I threw on about 20 lbs of muscle in my early 20s naturally and I still felt empty inside. Would I get noticed more, yeah. What did that do for my self confidence? Nothing, because it was a false sense of personal security I was fulfilling.
I knew it and bailed on that life goal of being jacked, because I knew I was being fake.
People put in such an effort into being noticed for arbitrary things. What truly defines our value in this life is how many useful variables our 🧠 can extrapolate.
For me training the body is meant to enhance your computational capacity. When you put more useless imbalanced muscle on you, it adds stress to your body, making you rely on more exogenous substances to just get by.
It’s not about bloating yourself with useless muscle to stand out for being irrelevant. It’s about rebuilding yourself with muscle that will actually propel you better in space and give you a real sense of security.
We are humans, not peacocks. Our value is in our utility, not performing con jobs on other humans.
When I see people corroding, and using steroids to keep it together, what they are fighting is their personal feelings of uselessness.
from .southbay gets it and it’s why you can see relevant changes on his body, and clearly on his self expression and confidence. It’s a realer sense of self security.
Be a better computer, not a better validation seeker and you’ll know what has always been about.

It’s not uncommon for FP doers to reach new levels physically in their older years and even get back to metrics they haven’t seen since they were younger.
Danny has reached a weight he hasn’t been since he was 22 and this was done without extreme workouts or discipline. A sustainable process of achieving your physical goals is what we are about.
When you begin to address the system instead of your symptoms with FP you will begin to find out that attaining good biomechanics is more about unlearning what you think you already know about training your body than it is training your body.
Danny has been putting in 60-65% max effort into his training 2-3 days a week but has been putting 100% in trying to understand his body through an FP lens.

CAN I BUILD & MAINTAIN MUSCLE DOING FP?
The answer is yes. However, if you are new to FP, the way you go about doing so will be different than what you are accustomed to.
How we build is key. When a contractor builds a house 🏡, the frame 🖼 must be built properly before moving to the next steps. If you build a house on a crooked frame and then put a bunch of weight on it by installing a roof, outside walls and interior, there’s going to be a problem.
Imagine your body is that house with a crooked frame. It seems most optimal to build muscle in a fashion that leads to a more balanced frame. This requires more thought and precise ex*****on than throwing some weights around 🏋🏻♀️.
As a result, you will build a sustainable frame with functional mass and teach your muscles to connect in a way that generates mechanical ⚙️ propulsion.
When practioner isn’t working on his biomechanics at the lab 🧪, he’s lifting and throwing bodies on the wrestling 🤼♀️ mat. Traditional lifts left him in pain and unable to perform while got him out of pain. The physics applied in FP has more transferability than the lifts he used to do ever could. Lukas plays the long game. He learns how to do FP.
At the end of the day, we are human before anything else. The stimulus we all need is exactly the same but needs to be scaled to where an individual is at.
ARE YOU GOING ALL IN with FP?
With the holiday season currently taking place, it’s common for people to put things off that they need until “after the holidays.” Holidays often seem to put people on a decline in terms of achieving results and solving their problems. However, it doesn’t have to be if you start now and take consistent action. Your FP practitioner is here to provide solutions to help you make gains no matter what time of the year it is.
When .johnson__ arrived at in 2018, she dabbled with for a period of time. Eventually she reached a point where she went ALL IN and her results started to skyrocket 🚀.
She released 30 #, remedied her anxiety/panic attacks, became more symmetrical, reduced migraines, eliminated skin issues, gained muscle 💪🏽, reduced inflammation and learned how to move more athletically. You can gain momentum with your results too by establishing a mental framework 🖼 and utilizing proper tools 🛠 that are conducive to doing so.
Michelle is a completely different human than who she used to be and continues to change her structure, mechanics and archetype on the daily. It’s amazing to witness.

My client Maria was diagnosed with scoliosis from birth. She broke her talus bone (astragalus) at 14 months of age. She needed to wear a leg cast for three months, due to which she needed to undergo surgery on her right Aquilles tendon. On her teenage years she practiced different sports, specially rugby kickboxing and CrossFit. While practicing kickboxing she suffered two knee dislocations which require her to use crutches for a couple of months.
She was also diagnosed by doctors with: Morphological alterations in sacrum and coccyx with fusion of several sacral and lumbar vertebral bodies.
She came to with pain in her knees and intermittent pain in her lower back and after two years of training Functionalpatterns she´s now pain free. She was also a vegetarian when she started and during this process of training Functional Patterns she started introducing meat and fish in her diet again.

This statement is very important to understand. Influencers, fitness industry folks, and people in general often make blanket statements such as “you just have to keeping moving” or “movement is medicine” etc…. These statements are half truths. Read more 👇🏽.
THINK…
About it.
Movement is medicine when it addresses a problem.
Movement for the sake of movement doesn’t make it helpful. It’s not just about getting off the couch and moving in the short term.
It’s not about getting in shape for 5 or so years and then plateauing at 40.
It’s about getting of the couch and moving well for a lifetime.
That means getting in fit and staying fit into our 80s and 90s.
At least that’s our goal at FP. We aim high and we use our results to help lead us in that direction.
Who’s with us? Let’s us know in the comments ✋
REDUCE STRESS…
If you move poorly you’re likely to not want to move much. Then the rust sets in.
What happens next?
Yes, a higher probability of pain and injury. With that pain comes stress and with stress comes a higher propensity to cope.
At age 53, Troy came in to with debilitating back pain that prevented him from being able to work on his farm. The pain led to him not being able to exercise which also led to him drinking a lot of alcohol.
5 months of using FP protocols and training in our gym twice per week and he is pain free and back working on the farm every day.
Troy is down 20kg and says it’s been a relatively easy transformation. The intensity of each session has probably been around 65% of max effort and the protocols we set outside of the gym have been easy to follow.
When you give the body the correct stimulus to facilitate a structural change, you allow the musculature to function better which in turn leads to a reduction in stress and in turn body fat.
Great work going down at !! Giving people a chance to get their lives back.
