Volunteers provide hot meals at St. Michaels Community Center dinner ST. MICHAELS — The warm, comforting aroma of homemade holiday dinner filled the air inside the St. Michael Community Center Wednesday afternoon as a small but mighty team of volunteers
We wish to especially thank Rob Lacaze and his team at TTR Sotheby's International Realty for providing ALL the presents for our recent Children's and Senior's Christmas Parties!
You helped bring much joy and hope to our neighbors in need over the holidays!

The St. Michaels Community Center’s Wednesday Senior Gatherings take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon and continue weekly.
Brunch will be prepared by SMCC and served by SMCC Community Engagement Coordinator Tony “Chief” Smith who will be coordinating and attending the gatherings.
We are grateful to be able to serve our neighbors in need, including those served by the Talbot County Health Department.

We'd love your help with pantry items for the people we serve, including food donations for our pets whose humans may need a little help, especially around the holidays.
Your donations can be dropped off at 207 N. Talbot Street on Mondays from 4-6 p.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Canned and packaged goods always go a long way in addressing hunger, and a new can opener and personal items can give someone a little extra hope. thanks to your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Jan Kirsh’s Community Connections
The sun-dappled roads continued to narrow and become canopied with old-forest trees as I traveled to one of the farthest reaches of Bozman, Maryland. Glimmers of Grace Creek and Leadenham Creek hugged my horizons on either side, while the trees carried songbirds and a chilly autumn breeze.
I arrived early for a Saturday afternoon garden party and fundraiser for the St. Michaels Community Center’s capital campaign, hosted by landscape designer and sculptor Jan Kirsh at her gardens and studio.
