Democrats are coalescing around Vice President Kamala Harris to replace President Joe Biden as the party’s nominee in the wake of Biden’s shocking decision Sunday to drop out of the presidential race—thrusting Harris into the spotlight in the final months of the race, just weeks before Democrats will formally select their nominee.

Biden called tapping Harris as his VP the “best decision” he’s made in Sunday’s announcement, and he’s praised her on several occasions in the last few weeks. During a speech at a NAACP convention last week, Biden said Harris is “not only a great vice president, she could be president of the United States.”

Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans. (MACV) What can I say? They are easily by far, the greatest veterans support group on the planet!! “ Hands down”!

Here is a breakdown of the event, by the numbers:

227 Veterans attended the event and of those, 24 were first time attendees who were able to access their services.
65 different organizations showed up to table. Over 50 volunteers came out to support the event.

They provided services and information ranging from triage, employment, housing, legal, financial, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment, benefits, vaccinations, medical services, haircuts, medical equipment, hygiene products, canine service partners, reading glasses, blankets, transportation, and loads of hope and encouragement.
