Exciting News! We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the U.S. Army’s AS9 STEM Trailer () at the 🎡 ND State Fair () 🎡. Visit us July 19-27, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.!

Inside this trailer, you will find three engaging rooms. Step into room one to teleport 8-years into the future and participate in interactive activities with the U.S. Army team focused on humanitarian operations. In room two, discover SARAH, the autonomous hybrid aiding in search and rescue missions and preventing environmental crises. Enter room three to work together as a team, using SARAH to navigate through factories and locate survivors in an interactive game and trying to get the best score.

STEM is at the core of all Army operations. Come out and explore more about our team! GO ARMY! 🇺🇸🫡

From the beginning to the end. Last Friday marked a bittersweet farewell as we said goodbye, exchanged good wishes and shared final hugs with our outstanding outgoing Minneapolis Battalion commander, LTC Khrysten Grace. She will be greatly missed as her leadership has greatly benefitted the Battalion as well as left a mark and as we welcome LTC Ducote to the North Stars family, we are filled with optimism for the future.

Our Freedom Fridays are starting to feel more like Farewell Fridays. Today we bid adieu to our XO, MAJ David McKenna, as his adventure with us at the Battalion has ended. It’s been a wonderful 2-years with him supporting our recruiters and civilians. His absence will be felt deeply.

Best of luck as you start your new adventure in Colorado, MAJ Mckenna!

As March begins, we honor Women’s History Month. It is a time to commemorate the remarkable achievements and contributions of women across history. Women have consistently led the way in advancements and innovations, playing a crucial role in supporting the Armed Forces. Since 1775, women have stood alongside men, offering supplies, medical aid and even assuming male identities on the front lines. Their unwavering presence and support continue to this day.

The honors the dedication of all women who have served our nation.

Today we honor all who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Thank you for your bravery, dedication, and service to our nation.

Who's in the Army now? A pitch switch aims to get more military recruits Amid those hawking corndogs and cheese curds at the Minnesota State Fair, the Army is trying to sell itself. An effort to entice sign ups is happening as the Army struggles to fill its ranks.

The U.S. Army Future Soldier Preparatory Course provides students the opportunity to raise their Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery or ASVAB scores or fitness scores through the program.

Students in either the academic or fitness track, or both tracks, who raise their scores will become eligible to renegotiate their contracts and receive the incentives offered in the new category they tested into. These incentives include job related bonuses, station of choice and if physically qualified, airborne monetary bonuses.

As an Army Firefighter, you’ll have the vital task of protecting peoples’ lives and property from fire, much like their civilian counterparts. You’ll control and prevent fires, not only in Army structures, but also aboard aircraft and ships. You’ll supervise and conduct firefighting, rescue, salvage, and fire protection operations, and you’ll perform emergency response duties during hazardous materials incidents.
