Do you love the State Fair? Do you love great food? Do you want free admission?
We are seeking experienced line/prep cooks for a unique opportunity who can work day or night shifts during the 12 days of fun at the MN State Fair (August 25-September 5). We are looking for skilled line/prep cooks with previous high-volume experience to join our team and create some of the most sought after and awarded food at the state fair in an exhibition style kitchen. San Felipe Tacos has won best food at the Minnesota State Fair and is expanding operations. Please respond and let’s talk.

Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining work areas, keeping us clean and organized
• Monitoring the quality and consistency of all food served from the lines
• Set up, restock, maintain clean food preparation areas, wash dishes
• Displaying knowledge in sanitation and sanitary food handling
• Ensuring food is prepared and lines are restocked in a timely fashion
• Preparing food in accordance with working menus and recipes
• Daily ordering review and input on restocking
• Preventing problems and problem solving issues
• Ability to communicate well with others in noisy environment
• Having fun with a fast-paced team

Qualifications include:
-Team-oriented
-Maintaining calm in a busy, fast-paced environment
-Positive attitude/demeanor
-Willing to have fun while working in a positive environment
-High volume experience
-Enthusiastic to perform a variety of jobs
-Availability during the entire State Fair (Aug 25 – Sept 5)

Steak marinated in Modist Brewing Deviation 004 - Mexican Dark Chocolate Stout, grilled and topped with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, queso fresco, cilantro lime and jalapeno ranch sauces, and wrapped in warm naan flatbread.

We are partnering with Modist Brewery on the marinade using Deviation 004: Modist Brewing's Mexican Dark Chocolate Stout brewed with velvety smooth dark chocolate and vanilla with a well balanced cinnamon and red chili smolder.
