🎉 Happy 18th Birthday to the incredible Ciara O’Shea! 🎂
Today we celebrate Ciara, a remarkable young woman who has been an integral part of the Celtic Junction Arts Center community since before our doors even opened. She’s a proud member of our Youth Advisory Council, an accomplished dancer with O'Shea Irish Dance (OID) (including regional and national ceili team titles), and a dedicated student at The Center for Irish Music.
Over the years, Ciara has wowed audiences as both a dancer and musician in Kickin' It Irish and the Celtic Holiday Hooley, growing up right before our eyes. This year, Ciara graduated from high school and will attend Hamline University, where she plans to study anthropology. Her curiosity and dedication to learning are just a couple of the qualities that make her shine. Ciara’s 5-megawatt smile lights up every room, and she always sees the best in people—lifting up her friends and advocating for her culture and community.
She has spent countless hours at CJAC doing homework, volunteering, rehearsing, hanging out with longtime friends, and taking dance and music classes. We’re so proud of all that Ciara has accomplished and are thrilled she will remain close by. We can’t wait to see what comes next!
Wishing you the happiest of birthdays, Ciara! 🥳💚
