Cyanotype is a super simple process of mixing up two liquids to brush onto a paper or cloth surface and exposing that surface to sunlight. Then you get an image of whatever is on the paper blocking the light; could be leaves and other cool stuff from your hike or it could be a transparency from your printer. Cyanotype prints can be made on any natural fiber: paper, cotton, silk, wool, wood, etc. No sun? UV lamps work too!

We've got two sets from Jacquard Products : one is a simple two-bottle kit that lets you mix up as much as you need to put the cyanotype mixture on whatever natural fiber surface you want, and the NEW complete kit that has everything you need to try out cyanotype for yourself!
