When I bought my first property, I told my father 6 years ago to buy a house. Last month I told him rent in the Tampa Bay Area has increased by 18-25% last year and it will continue. Last week he told me the landlord stated he was increasing rent. It just registered to him he has been renting from the same guy for 20 years. He is retired on a fixed income and rent continues to increase. The Landlord barely repairs anything, nor has he upgraded the dwelling. Sometimes life’s (Situations and Conditions) are the best methods of communication.
