🏖🏖 Beach Nourishment Project Update as of 7/11/2024 🏖🏖

As a reminder, all Pass-A-Grille businesses including Paradise Grille remain OPEN during the beach nourishment project.

The Grand Canal dredge portion of the project is complete. Pinellas County has received authorization from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the contractor is mobilizing to resume work on the nourishment of Pass-a-Grille Beach. Sand placement will begin as soon as the contractor completes its mobilization of equipment and installation of environmental protection devices. The first phase of the project will take place south of Paradise Grille and should be completed by late August. The second phase will occur north of the concession building and will be completed by late October, weather-permitting.

Currently, Pass-A-Grille Beach is closed from 1st Avenue to 6th Avenue, including the fishing pier. Approximately 40 beach parking spaces on Gulf Way, between 1st Avenue and 3rd Avenue are also closed for the duration of the project.

From the City of St Pete Beach regarding the portion of the beach south of 10th Ave that has been under restoration since the hurricane:

Pass-A-Grille Beach will re-open to the public at 5pm on Thursday, November 9 as the Dune Restoration Project is completed in partnership with Pinellas County Government. During that project, new dunes were established and vegetation was planted. Please protect the dunes by staying off of them.

Join the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum for Mullet Fest. Nov. 4th, 11AM-3PM on 10th Ave in Pass-A-Grille. Live music from The St Pete Sax Quartet as well as The Boat of Us!
Plus coffee and mocktail bar, a fish spread contest, and raffling a bunch of gift certificates to local area restaurants.
